Ian Blevins – El Verano 0 12
Last week the lovely We Love lot uploaded a mix I have done, as I do every year, of alot of music I’ve enjoyed at vairous stages throughout the summer. You can visit this post here. Of course there’s too many to put up, but what is left is a selection of music that has recieved alot of airplay throughout the months of May to October. Each track evoking particular memories of time and space in an order that I hope makes sense to those listening from start to finish. Without further adue you can stream the mix on soundcloud here. Jem Haynes, Ian Blevins – Second Line EP [Colour Series]
At the beginning of Summer 2011, Jem Haynes moved to the flat directly above me. This was soon the beginning of regular coffee’s and music making sessions. After getting involved in a series called Treme, our Second Line guise was born as we sought inspiration in a lot of the songs, drums and rhythms from the music in the series for an EP.
Over a year and a half has gone by and in that time has seen these tracks tested around the globe, including We Love at Ministry of sound and Space in Ibiza where they have worked to full effect on a weekly basis. This debut EP is also the first release on Jem Haynes new Colour Series label. More music is in the pipeline currently from ourselves, Jem and Mike Peters. Check the Colour Series soundcloud for more

Ian Blevins live from Space Terrace for We Love – 23/09/2012
Here is the first two hours of my set at We Love this summing on the terrace. Had huge fun being back in that room again and was glad to be leaving it full when I finished. Following myself was Technasia, James Zabiela and Groove Armada. Not bad company to be in.

We Love … Garden 2012
What seems like an eternity ago now, myself and the We Love posse spent an amazing few days at the Garden Festival in its brand location in Tisno. Thought i’d post up a few pictures from that weekend to relive the weekend, in particular the We Love boat party we did with myself, PBR Streetgang and Mr Doris. Amazing. Cracking place, cracking people, cracking music.

We Love Garden Festival
As well as my summer residency at Space for We Love I’ll also be making my debut at the Garden festival in Croatia alongside PBR Streetgang and Mr Doris. The boat party will be on the 6th July and set sail to the high sea’s at 18.30. We Love Space 2012
Once again I’ve the esteemed pleasure and honour of being one of the We Love residents at Space this summer. Ill be taking the reigns for 12 dates mainly up on the very familiar Premier Etage, as well as the El Salon and the famous Space terrace.

Brazil 2012
This year I had the upmost pleasure of travelling to Brazil and being able to play some records on the We Love stage at Green Valleys SC Musica festival alongside at Paul Woolford, Robert Babicz and Robert Dietz.

Slowly but surely I think im improving, and with the help of a few collaborations was able to give the good folks at We Love a mix of tracks Ive/We’ve been doing over the last year.

Ian Blevins live from Graysons/WeLove Afterparty
This is a part recording of the set I played mid Monday afternoon in an excellent villa surrounded by good people, good weather and a good booze. Think we missed an hour or two off either side but who really knows. Best guesses don’t really matter here. All that matters is the music we did record.
Ive roughly wrote down a quick tracklisting so Ill tidy or add to the tracklisting as I go. I forget a few of the tunes, so if anyone can help me remember them then drop me a message, otherwise.
