Here’s some record keeping me happy on this young Mayday afternoon..
Here’s a mix I’ve knocked up yesterday for the lads at Cliche. Its consists of records I like and a few of my own. Enjoy!
The first of our Chestnut parties this year takes us back to the Globe where we have invited Auntie Flo to come and Dj for us. After listening to many of his mixes and records it was hard not to book this guy to come to the northeast.

In southern Manchester there is a fine bar ran by fine people. After various shannigans/ knee’s up in sunnier climates they’ve invited me down to play some music this friday. For those in the area come and join in.
You’ll find more information here.
The other week i was invited to Manchester to play at Bump at Joshua Brookes in Manchester. A top night was had, so for those who weren’t in attendance or for those who were and wish to relive the night, or simply fill in the gaps the set was recorded. Here’s a few bits off the top of my head that will be taking me through December
Im very happy to tell everyone about this release, which is myself and Phils first release on wax. This is released courtesy of the ever impressive Disco Bloodbath chaps, on a label where we’ll be alongside names such as Waze & Odyessey, Mark E, Hand Plant, G & S, Jamie Blanco and Damon Martin to name a few.
This will be the first EP and have another scheduled for release next spring. Meanwhile its back to this one. On remixes duty we have Crooked Man aka DJ Parrot who got a nice review on Juno Plus and Wild Geese. We also got a nice review on the ace site that is Test pressing as well. Both are sterling.
Last week the lovely We Love lot uploaded a mix I have done, as I do every year, of alot of music I’ve enjoyed at vairous stages throughout the summer. You can visit this post here. Of course there’s too many to put up, but what is left is a selection of music that has recieved alot of airplay throughout the months of May to October. Each track evoking particular memories of time and space in an order that I hope makes sense to those listening from start to finish. Without further adue you can stream the mix on soundcloud here. Don’t forget you can also listen to my live set on the terrace at We Love below also. [soundcloud url="http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/66217542" iframe="true" /]
